Insurance claim workflows are now accessible directly within the consultation view. Veterinarians can initiate and manage insurance claims without leaving the consultation, streamlining the billing process for insured patients.
New Consultation Experience Expansion
The redesigned consultation experience continues to expand with new capabilities: integrated email and SMS communication, insurance claim workflows, clinical notes PDF printing, AI Scribe improvements, and consultation summary data available directly in the invoice sidebar. These changes bring more of the daily clinical workflow into a single, modern interface.
Payment Failure Reasons
Automated and recurring payment failures now display human-readable reasons instead of technical error codes. This makes it easier for staff to understand why a payment failed and take appropriate action.
Production Animal and Farm Registration
New company registration forms now support production animal and farm-specific fields. The farmer and production animal checkboxes have been combined for a cleaner workflow, and the Country Parish Holding (CPH) number has been moved to the Farm card where it belongs.
Insurance Gateway: Lähitapiola Migration
The Lähitapiola insurance integration has been migrated to the new production system. Improvements include streamlined claim workflows, the ability to send decision messages while marking matters complete, and better display of clinic names in the insurance portal.
MMS Messaging Support
You can now send images and media attachments via MMS in client communications. This includes support for sending MMS in direct messages, thread replies, and message resends — giving your team richer ways to communicate with pet owners.
Clinical Notes Print and Template Fixes
Fixed missing print buttons in single consultation note views and resolved a template rendering error caused by the placeholder library. Clinical notes printing now works reliably across all views.
Import from File: Undo Functionality
Stock imports now support undo. If you import items from a file and notice an issue, you can reverse the import rather than manually correcting each entry. This saves significant time when handling bulk inventory updates.
Consultation Summary in Invoice Sidebar
The invoice page now displays a consultation summary in the right sidebar, providing contextual information about linked consultations. This gives billing staff quick access to treatment details without leaving the invoice view.
Payments Report
A new comprehensive Payments Report is now available for Provet Pay users. View all payments with summary metrics, filter by date range, payment method, and status, and search across transactions. The report includes a detailed data table with multiple view tabs for quick analysis.
Send Email and SMS from Consultations
Send emails and SMS messages directly from the consultation view. Client contact details are now displayed in the consultation header with quick-action buttons, streamlining communication without switching screens.
AI Scribe Mobile Fix
Resolved an issue where AI Scribe was failing on mobile devices. Additionally, auto-logout now correctly detects active AI Scribe recording sessions and will not interrupt them.
Ratsit Client Lookup for Sweden
Swedish clinics can now look up client information via Ratsit directly from the registration form. A search button appears next to the ID number or phone field, allowing staff to auto-populate client details from the national registry.
Search: Active Results Prioritized
Search results now prioritize active clients and patients over archived or deceased records. When multiple records share similar names, active ones appear first — reducing the time spent scrolling past inactive records.
Multiple Phone Numbers and Emails
Client records now support multiple phone numbers and email addresses. Each entry can have a description and one can be marked as the default for communications, giving clinics more flexibility in managing client contact preferences.
Invoice Email and Receipt Fixes
Fixed issues with automatic invoice emails sending with blank subjects when the department setting was empty. Also resolved problems with Receipt.pdf attachments not being included in payment confirmation emails.
Health Plan Usage in Consultations
Veterinarians can now use a client's health plan subscriptions directly during consultations. Apply health plan benefits to consultation items without navigating away from the treatment workflow.
Italian Tax Code Generator
Italian market users can now generate tax codes (Codice Fiscale) directly from the client registration form. When the invoice country is set to Italy, a generator tool appears next to the ID number field, calculating the code from client details.
Duplicate Invoice Registration Prevention
The fiscal registration system now detects and prevents duplicate invoice and payment registrations. If a registration request matches an already-processed transaction, it skips the duplicate instead of creating a second entry.
Diagnosis Count Accuracy
Previous diagnosis counts now only include confirmed final diagnoses, excluding suspected ones. The historical clinical notes section is also hidden when a patient has no prior entries, reducing visual clutter.
Clinical Notes PDF Printing
Print clinical notes directly from consultations as formatted PDF documents. The print button is now available in both the consultation notes list and individual note views, making it easy to generate paper records when needed.
Veterinarian Assignment on Invoices
Change the assigned veterinarian at both the invoice level and individual item level on finalized invoices. This gives billing staff the flexibility to correct or reassign veterinarian attribution after an invoice has been completed.
Granular Invoice Pricing Controls
The Pricing Hub now includes all pricing-related fields such as handling fees, injection fees, and minimum charges. These fields are automatically propagated to local departments, ensuring consistent pricing across your organization.
Stock Import Reliability Improvements
Multiple fixes to the stock import from file feature: imports now correctly match active catalog items instead of archived duplicates, single category values are handled properly, and category defaults apply correctly. Item action buttons are also disabled during propagation to prevent conflicts.
Central Item Management Fixes
Several fixes to central item management: the review step now correctly detects changes to inline fields like alternative prices and withdrawal periods, vaccine field propagation information is displayed accurately, and validation error recovery no longer hides pending changes.
Estimate Discount Calculation Fix
Fixed incorrect cost calculations on estimates when discounts were configured but not yet active. Estimates now accurately reflect pricing regardless of discount activation status.
Patient Portal Launched in Finland
The Provet Patient Portal is now live in Finland. Pet owners can book appointments online, view upcoming visits, access vaccination records, and manage their pets' care through a dedicated self-service portal. This launch represents a major milestone in Provet's digital pet owner experience.
Order Dialog and Laboratory Fixes
Fixed the order sending confirmation dialog that was hanging indefinitely with a loading spinner. Also improved laboratory result parsing to correctly handle reference ranges that only have an upper or lower bound.
Client Balance on Hover
Client balance information is now visible when hovering over a client's name in search results. This restores a frequently requested feature that allows staff to quickly check outstanding balances without opening the full client record.
Automated Receipt Delivery
Payment receipts are now automatically delivered to clients after completing a Provet Pay transaction. The system handles delivery without requiring manual intervention from staff, ensuring clients always receive their payment confirmation promptly.
Mobile App: Receive Orders
The mobile app now supports receiving incoming stock orders. Veterinary staff can review, confirm, and process deliveries directly from their mobile device, reducing the need to return to a workstation for inventory management.
EU CDN Optimization for Booking Widget
Booking widget loading performance has been improved across Europe through CDN optimization. Clinics in the EU should see noticeably faster widget load times for their clients.
Booking Widget Multilingual Support
