Clinical AI — Free & Unlimited Plans
Clinical AI brings native AI tools into Provet to support the consultation workflow from start to finish. It includes AI Scribe (real-time dictation and summaries), AI Patient History (condensed case history), and AI Discharge Instructions (client-ready discharge notes).
These tools reduce time spent on documentation and help keep medical records consistent and complete. Teams can review cases faster and stay focused on patient care during busy consults.

A free Clinical AI plan is now available to all Provet customers and users. The free plan includes up to 30 minutes of dictation, 30 patient history summaries, and 30 discharge note summaries per user, per month; an unlimited, seat-based plan is available for purchase in-app. See this doc. for more detail.
Additional Reporting Category for Invoice Line Items
Invoice line items can now include an additional reporting category, and you can rename reporting categories to match the language your team uses. This makes it easier to stay consistent across locations and roles.
The extra category adds a clearer way to sort, review, and analyze invoice activity without relying on manual notes or external spreadsheets. It gives you a more detailed view of performance across services, products, and workflows.

The additional category can be used across Items, Consultations, Invoices, Credit Notes, Bundles, and reporting (including General Ledger filtering and grouping). Admins can enable it in Organization Settings, with options to hide the field in consultations or item rows if not needed. See this doc. for more detail.
Improvements
- Estimates: "Price may vary" now only appears when variable pricing is active, and it’s easier to select the correct time for out-of-hours estimates. The underlying functionality remains the same; however, we moved the "preference time" field to the bottom of the estimate, and we have added better indication of which line items were affected by price variations due to clinic location rates or discount schemes. Additionally, the Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons now consistently remain floating, and the back button reliably returns you to your previous screen.

- Forms: Forms linked to appointment reasons can be included in confirmations and reminders so clients complete e-signatures before visits, and staff can review submissions during consultations.

- Vaccines: Combo vaccines can store next-due dates per disease for better certificates and immunisation overviews, support default effect groups by disease group, and update “expiry date” to “Next vaccination due”. See this doc. for more detail.

- Permissions: Split pricing edits into two permissions—changing the final item price versus changing the percent adjustment—so you can control who can make each change.
- Exports: Item sales report Excel exports now include clinic location name and clinic location ID when available.
- Browser: Enable Office documents to open inline in Chrome via Microsoft’s online viewer instead of downloading.

- Billing safeguards: Add a permission to restrict who can remove or change quantities for automatically added consultation items (reasons, in-house fees, referrals) to reduce missed billing.

- Production animals: Withdrawal periods can now be set in hours as well as days (for example, milk withdrawal).
