The program’s teaching hospital to implement the cloud-based software for all veterinary students and staff in 2024

Helsinki, Finland, December 2023: Provet Cloud, the leading cloud-based practice management solution from Nordhealth, has announced that the University of Helsinki has selected Provet Cloud for its veterinary program’s teaching hospital, joining an extensive network of EU universities using the cloud-based practice management system, including NMBU in Norway, SLU in Sweden, UCD School of Veterinary Medicine in Ireland, and others.

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the University of Helsinki is Finland’s only teaching hospital, caring for all sizes and species of animals, open 24 hours, every day of the year.

"We are deeply grateful for the veterinary program’s trust in our solution, and we are excited to start the project with the University of Helsinki in early 2024,” said Marja-Leena Suvanto, the Provet Cloud country manager for Finland. “We’re confident that students and future generations of veterinarians will benefit from Provet Cloud’s wide range of program features, and hope that they transfer that expertise to the animal clinics and municipalities they go on to serve.”

Once implemented, Provet Cloud will be the primary system for the university’s veterinary teaching staff and students, strongly supporting their studies and contributing to the realization of high-quality animal care and education. The software will provide hands-on experience of how an integrated technology solution can improve visibility and data sharing, the efficiency of operations, and patient outcomes in veterinary care – benefiting the veterinary staff, their patients, and clients.
