A good start with a new cloud-based veterinary management system

”We chose Provet Cloud as the costs are on a par with our previous practice management system but with much more to offer. Our clients have been requesting text reminders for appointments for several years”, Sally Harrison, Practice Manager of Riverside Veterinary Centre, says.

Some of the team, Sally Harrison and Hayley Strangwood, met Michele Pelkonen from Provet Cloud initially in the Provet Cloud stand at London Vet Show.

”Her demonstration was thorough, informative and friendly. Other systems we’ve used or considered either didn’t include text reminders or were not at all cost-effective”, Sally told us.

So they signed up for Provet Cloud.

Text reminders included in Provet Cloud. That was one reason why Riverside Veterinary Centre chose it.

Very good online speech bubble support

The start with the new veterinary management system has been successful.

”Hannu Tuovinen from Provet Cloud was extremely supportive and patient when he joined us for the training and go-live day. He explained the system clearly. He listened to our requirements and advised us on how best to use Provet Cloud for our specific needs”, Sally Harrison says.

She also likes the online “speech bubble” support. Inquiries have been dealt with quickly and they are kept informed of progress.

They have now used the system for a few weeks. Sally thinks that they are still learning about the system and discovering what it can do for them. Provet Cloud has proven to be very efficient, and being based in another country has had nil effect on their support

”Already, we have received system updates and understand this happens every month”, Sally says.

Riverside focusing on customer care

Riverside Veterinary Centre was opened by Dai Gittins in Stratford-Upon-Avon, UK, in May 1997. The team has grown over the years.
”Yvonne Claridge was part of the original team and is still here 21 years later”, Sally Harrison says. She is also one of the founding members of Riverside.

”Hayley Strangwood joined us in 2003 and Alice is our most recent recruit, and soon to be, RVN.”

Riverside Veterinary Centre has been a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice for over 10 years now.

Sally Harrison says that they pride themselves on being an independent small animal practice focusing on customer care as well as preventative healthcare for pets. The team is there to ensure that pets have a long and healthy life.

The staff of Riverside Veterinary Centre is dedicated to taking good care of pets.

 

24-hour emergency veterinary service available

In the Riverside Veterinary Centre, they provide a long list of veterinary services, as like annual health reviews, on-site diagnostic laboratory and the latest surgical and diagnostic equipment.

”Whether it’s an appointment for a general check-up or surgical procedure, all our staff are fully trained to answer all inquiries you may have about your pet’s health. Additionally, our 24-hour emergency service is accessed via the same number as our daytime services”, Sally Harrison says.

Their 24-hour service is provided by Willows Veterinary Centre.

”We are very much a team, each team member having areas of responsibility. ”

Whether it’s a cat or dog or a guinea pig or rabbit, you’ll want to make sure that they’re with you for as long as possible. That means occasional trips to the vet. Riverside Veterinary Centre provides a comprehensive list of services.
