What is Provet MCP?

AI tools are only as useful as the data you give them. Provet MCP lets you connect your clinic reporting data and chat with your AI tool of choice. Build your own agents, run custom analysis, cross-reference with data from your other systems, and surface patterns you'd spend hours hunting for in a spreadsheet.

Five skills, split by use case.

Skill

1

Practice Health Check

A check-up for your clinic, not your patients. Ask a simple question about income, busiest services, or how this month compares to the last one. Get a clear picture of how the business is doing. No spreadsheets. No report builder.

For a clinic owner, on the first Monday of the month.

TRY ASKING

"Run my practice health check for last month."
Copy
"Show me our income for each of the last 12 months."
Copy
"Which of our services bring in the most money?"
Copy
"Which of our locations is doing best?"
Copy

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Only finalized invoices are counted, so numbers match what you've actually billed.
  • You can ask for figures with or without VAT. If you don't say, you'll get both.
  • Recently migrated? Only invoices created in Provet are included, so older months may look emptier than they were.

Skill

2

Getting Paid

Every clinic has money sitting in unpaid invoices. See who owes what, how long it's been outstanding, and who to contact first. The same information as an aged debtors report. You just ask for it.

For a practice manager, as a weekly routine.

TRY ASKING

"Who owes us money? Run my debtors check."
Copy
"How much has been owed for more than 90 days?"
Copy
"How much are we waiting on from insurance companies?"
Copy
"Give me a chase list: everyone owing more than €200 for over 60 days."
Copy

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Amounts are grouped into standard aging buckets: current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90, and over 90 days overdue.
  • Insurance money is shown separately from what clients owe directly, because you chase them differently.
  • The chase list gives you names and amounts. Contacting the client is still done by you.

Skill

3

Appointments and Diary

Your appointment book holds answers to questions like "when are we busiest?" and "how many people just don't turn up?" Ask them directly, so you can plan staffing and cut wasted slots.

For a manager planning shifts.

TRY ASKING

"Review my diary for the last three months."
Copy
"What are our busiest days of the week?"
Copy
"How many no-shows did we have last month?"
Copy
"How long do clients wait between arriving and being seen?"
Copy

GOOD TO KNOW

  • No-shows and cancellation reasons only appear if your team records them. If reception rarely marks no-shows, the numbers will look lower than reality.
  • Waiting time is measured from patient arrival to when the consultation starts.
  • Ask for a breakdown by veterinarian or location once you have the top-level view.

Skill

4

Clients, Patients, and Health Plans

Your client base is the heart of the practice. Spot growth, catch patients who've quietly stopped coming, and see how your health plans are actually performing. These are the numbers that decide next year's revenue.

For reception or nursing teams, filling a quiet week with recalls.

TRY ASKING

"How's our client base looking this year?"
Copy
"Find patients we haven't seen in over a year."
Copy
"Are our health plan members actually using what's included?"
Copy
"Which health plans get cancelled most, and why?"
Copy

GOOD TO KNOW

  • A lapsed patient means no recorded visit in the period you choose. Twelve months is the usual starting point.
  • Very low utilization can mean members don't know what's included. Very high can mean the plan is underpriced.
  • Deceased and archived patients are left out of lapsed-patient lists.

Clinic Data Analyst

Your client base is the heart of the practice. Spot growth, catch patients who've quietly stopped coming, and see how your health plans are actually performing. These are the numbers that decide next year's revenue.

TRY ASKING

"You're my clinic data analyst. What should I know about this month?"
Copy
"Anything I should be worried about in the numbers?"
Copy
"I have 10 minutes. Give me the state of the practice."
Copy
