Improvements

Show prices to clients during online booking

For: Clinics using Provet Online Booking

When clients choose a visit reason, they can now see the price during the booking flow. Clinics can set the price in Provet settings at the reason type level, and choose whether to show a fixed price or a “starting from” price. This update is the first step toward CMA compliance for Provet online booking. Next, we’ll introduce a separate Pricing page that can be added to the clinic’s website and opened with one click, completing another CMA requirement.

Register new patients faster with one unified form

For: Clinic staff creating and editing patients (reception, nurses, vets)

Patient registration is now a single, consistent flow across Provet — no matter where you start (appointment, dashboard, or client record).

The new form adapts to your clinic type, showing only the essential fields by default, with expandable sections for extra details when needed. It also helps prevent duplicates by flagging potential matches as you enter key information (like microchip IDs), so you spend less time cleaning up records later.

Fewer clicks when adding vaccine procedures to consultations

For: Clinics using vaccine procedures with linked medicine items

When a vaccine medicine item is linked to a procedure, you can now set a default effect group (for example, “3-week booster” vs. “standard”). That default is then applied automatically when the procedure is added to a consultation — reducing repetitive manual selection and helping teams record the correct vaccination efficacy more reliably. For combo vaccines, defaults can be set per disease group.

Clearer dropdowns across Provet

For: Anyone using search + dropdown fields across Provet

We’ve refreshed the combobox component (dropdown/search fields used in pickers across the app) to make selections clearer and reduce mis-clicks. Selected options now stand out when you open a dropdown — especially helpful for multi-select fields — and the search field UI has been simplified (typing to search works the same as before).

Functionality is unchanged; this is a visual/usability improvement.

More compliant refill controls for UK clinics (SQP support)

For: UK clinics managing medicine refills

UK clinics can now mark users as SQP, which changes what refills non-veterinarian staff can create based on medicine classification.

Non-veterinarian SQP users can create refills for POM-VPS, NFA-VPS, AVM-GSL, and OTC medicine items. Non-veterinarian non-SQP users can’t create medicine refills. Veterinarian workflows are unchanged.

Easier-to-read statements for multi-patient clients

For: Clinic clients with multiple patients — especially equine and other multi-patient practices

Clients receiving statements with multiple invoices across different animals could not quickly see which invoices belonged to which patients. Now, the detailed statement view groups invoice rows by patient, and the summary view lists patient names directly. It shows a single patient as-is, lists two to three patients individually, or displays the first three plus "+ N more patients" for larger lists.

More flexibility when emailing from client or consultation pages

For: Clinic staff sending documents to clients from the client page or a consultation

The Send email modal now brings more into one place. You can upload new attachments directly from the modal using the new "Add attachments" panel instead of preparing them in advance. You can also attach forms, just as you can from patient history.

Coming Soon

Health plan lifecycle notification emails

For: Clinics using Health Plans

Pet owners will receive automated transactional emails at key health plan lifecycle moments (for example: activation, renewal, and cancellation). This is new behavior and helps ensure customers are kept informed — especially for payment methods like direct debit where advance notice requirements apply.

RAL Lab Integration

For: Veterinary clinics using Provet in RAL-supported markets (Spain)

Send lab requests and receive results directly in Provet, without switching between systems. The RAL laboratory integration supports the full diagnostic workflow, from ordering tests to receiving results, within your existing setup.

We expect to make the integration available at the beginning of June.
