A single report for all your invoices and payments

Tracking down unpaid invoices and reconciling payments shouldn't take up your admin team's morning. The new Invoice Report gives you a complete picture of your clinic's billing in seconds — so you can spend less time in spreadsheets and more time focused on patient care.

Everything lives in one place now. Invoices and payments are combined into a single view that loads significantly faster, even across multiple locations. Filter by date, status, clinic, Veterinarian, or client to find exactly what you need. Save the views you use most, export to CSV, Excel, or PDF, and schedule reports to arrive in your inbox automatically.

Online booking, now available globally

Pet owners expect to book appointments on their own time — and now every Provet clinic can offer that experience. New Online Booking is rolling out to all remaining markets throughout March, bringing a faster, more modern booking flow to clinics worldwide.

Already live in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark, the new experience is now being enabled across the UK, US, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, and dozens more countries in phases through the end of March. The updated design gives your clients a smoother booking experience while giving you more control over how your availability is presented.

Improvements

A cleaner, more intuitive consultation experience

Consultations are the heart of your day — and the screen you work in should reflect that. We're rolling out a redesigned consultation page that reduces scrolling, keeps key information within reach, and helps your team move through visits more efficiently.

Step-by-step tabs let you click through Clinical Notes, Diagnosis, Labs, Treatment Items, and other important details without losing your place. A new collapsible Action Bar puts patient history, financial info, internal tags, and integrations right where you need them. And with the AI Assistant, you can transcribe and add consultation notes directly into the medical record with a single click.

Register multiple patients at once

Registering a litter of puppies or a group of farm animals no longer means repeating yourself. You can now add several patients in one go, bulk-set shared characteristics like breed and date of birth, then fine-tune individual details — cutting what used to be a tedious process down to a few clicks.

Customizable pre-registration confirmation emails

First impressions matter when a new client is walking through your door. Pre-registration confirmation emails can now be fully customized, so you can tailor the wording, add security reminders, and include clinic-specific instructions that set the right expectations before the visit even begins.

Bulk shift management and find appointments without shifts

You can now bulk-delete shifts even when they have appointments attached. Also, a new filter on the Schedule Appointment dashboard surfaces any appointments without a shift, so if a staff member calls in sick and you need to swap shifts around, you have greater flexibility for shift management.

Local permission management for practice managers

When a nurse covers for a colleague or a new Veterinarian joins the team, waiting on head office to update permissions slows everyone down. The upgraded Staff Dashboard puts that control where it belongs — with your practice manager.

Local managers can now view and edit permission groups for colleagues within their clinic, supporting temporary coverage, promotions, or evolving responsibilities without needing central admin rights. Central admins still control which groups can be managed locally, so oversight stays intact while your team stays unblocked. This feature will roll out in phases throughout March.

A faster, cleaner way to register clients and companies

Registering a new client used to look different depending on where you started — different forms, fields, and behaviour. The new client and company registration replaces all of that with one form that works the same way everywhere in Provet, adapting automatically to your country and clinic settings. Postcode lookup fills addresses in seconds, duplicate detection flags match before saving, and you can capture multiple phone numbers, emails, and communication preferences in one place. Clients and companies now have purpose-built forms — so corporate accounts, farms, and individual pet owners each get a tailored experience.

Two-way client messaging, starting with SMS

Juggling client messages across personal phones, third-party apps, and sticky notes creates gaps. A unified communication hub is on the way — starting with Two-Way SMS — so your reception team can send, receive, and track client conversations in one place, directly within Provet.

Refreshed appointment and reminder email design

The emails your clients receive are an extension of your practice. We're giving appointment confirmations and reminders a cleaner, more professional design — while keeping all the customization options you rely on. The updated templates will roll out in phases throughout March.

Adding a patient to Provet used to look different depending on where you started — different fields, layouts, and quirks. The new patient registration replaces all of those flows with one unified form that works the same way everywhere, adapting to your clinic's settings, species, and country.

Built-in breed and species search, straightforward date of birth entry, and duplicate detection that flags matches as you type. This helps prevent the double records that cause headaches in billing and medical history. Custom fields and insurance details are captured right on the form.

AI Scribe, now on your phone

Your phone is now your scribe. Open a consultation on your desktop, scan the QR code with the Provet Mobile App, and start talking — the app transcribes your voice in real time and sends notes straight into the consultation record. It works in the background, so you can pocket your phone and focus entirely on the patient.
